Question: Why can't I buy Mezonos bread anywhere in Queens?
Answer: Because there is no such thing as Mezonos Bread! According to the vast majority of Poskim, "Mezonos Bread" is an oxymoron. It looks like bread and it tastes like bread. It is eaten together with a meal in place of bread. How can we consider it anything but bread, which requires Netilas Yadayim and Birchas Hamazon.
